Love your onions (?) in the wooden crate. I found it too hard to cut my perennial flowers last year in the community garden so have created a cutting patch on the allotment this year. One perennial that I've found good for cutting is scabious, it just goes on reflowering all year (often into the winter in my sheltered London veg patch).
