They dried beautifully and still had colour as well. am going to try it with whole flowers next year. You inspired me to try that with some next season after I ready about your mystery seed turning out to be pumpkins! I figured if you managed it with those, and people do it with cucumbers all the time, courgettes and smaller squashes shouldn't really be an issue!

Well done on the window! It looks so cosy and inviting!

Your garden looks lovely and autumnal with all the lovely oak leaves working as mulch. The best thing I have to give me leaves at the moment would be the hedge, but they're all still green, so I've only got the odd fruit bush who's turned brown and fallen off. (Most of them have stayed green too!)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15188603527602084352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5082433578355725102.post-8563273949055922012013-11-30T13:03:33.760+00:002013-11-30T13:03:33.760+00:00Congratulations on wining the best dressed window....Congratulations on wining the best dressed window. I can see why too. It looks so festive and inviting. I'm sure you'll do fine collecting your prize and you'll most probably get a nice spot in the papers too.

Now, do you think it's a good idea to tell Gibson that piece of meat is called a Postman's leg? He just might go for the real thing next time, ha ha ha.

May I also ask, how do you dry flowers? I've absolutely no idea but I like the ones in your post here. Thanks in advance.
